Resort Overview

Located in the stunning Kosciusko National Park, Perisher is made up by 4 villages and their corresponding ski fields – Perisher Valley, Blue Cow, Smiggin Holes and Guthega.

Combined they provide over 3000 acres of skiable terrain which all interlink, making Perisher the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere.

With 47 lifts, over 100 groomed runs and 5 terrain parks, Perisher caters to all abilities. Renowned for its snow reliability and consistency, Perisher boasts a vast multi-million dollar snowmaking network which kicks into action when extra snow is needed.

Perisher’s 4 ski fields offer terrain to suit all levels with many runs offering you breath-taking panoramic views of the Kosciuszko mountain range.

Activities and Attractions

If you want to improve your skills, Perisher’s Snowsports School offers lessons for first timers’ right through to experts. Thrill seekers can also test their skills at Australia’s only Superpipe in Perisher Valley.

There are plenty of additional activities to choose from including snow-shoeing, nordic and cross-country skiing, a snow-tubing park, groomer tours and scenic chairlift rides. Perisher also hosts regular events including fireworks shows, live music, ski competitions and more.

Resort Services

Throughout the 4 villages you will find plenty of cafes, bars, retail stores and fine dining options along with a vibrant nightlife. Perisher offers a range of on-snow accommodation options including hotels, lodges and self-contained apartments. If you are travelling with a young family, take advantage of Perisher’s child care centre where kids from 6 weeks old can be entertained while you enjoy your ski vacation.

Located 5 hours from Sydney and only 2.5 hours from Canberra it is easy to get to Perisher. Once you arrive at Perisher the Skitube, Australia’s only alpine railway, is the most efficient and practical way to access the mountain, taking in some beautiful sights along the way.
