Here you will find lift access up to 1943m, three terrain parks, wide open bowls and plenty of beginner areas. The mountain receives fantastic natural snow which is also supported by over 100 snow guns for consistent snow coverage throughout the season.

Activities and Attractions

Extensive trail work at The Remarkables makes the progression from beginner to intermediate easy and enjoyable. There is also plenty of advanced terrain to keep the experts entertained.

Advanced skiers and riders will love exploring the lift-serviced back country-style runs and chutes. The Remarkables longest run, the 1.5km-long Homeward Run, has a vertical drop of 350 metres and is widely regarded as New Zealand’s best ski runs.

The Remarkables is also a natural choice for beginners and families. Children will be entertained by the resident mascots, Spike and Shred, or for time to yourself take advantage of the Early Learning Centre, for littlies aged 3 months to 5 years, or the Kea Club programs for children aged from 5-15 years.

Resort Services

The Remarkables’ new base building caters to all your needs with guest facilities such as shops, cafes and a Snow Sports school. An easy, convenient and modern ski and snowboard rental service within the building can also provide you with everything you need to hit the slopes.

When it’s time for some ‘time out’, relax on the outdoor deck of the Base Building as you enjoy coffee, lunch or an après ski drink and take in the spectacular views overlooking Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the Southern Alps.
