Located approximately 4.5 hours drive from Melbourne in the stunning Alpine National Park, Mount Hotham is Victoria’s highest alpine resort.
Perched on a spectacular ridge line, the resort boasts some of Australia’s most picturesque alpine scenery. For a more cosy experience, the charming village of Dinner Plain is located an easy 20 minute drive from the main village.
Mount Hotham has a reputation for its steep pistes and great back-country terrain making it a top destination for advanced skiers. With plenty of other activities on offer, it is also a great destination for less adventurous snow tourists.
Skiers and boarders at Mount Hotham will enjoy downhill and cross country runs ranging from beginners to advanced. For a unique experience, free Snow Kat tours enable access to untracked powders.

Activities and Attractions
Other activities you can choose from include snowmobile tours, sled dog tours, snowshoeing, fat-biking and more. At Dinner Plain, a new Snow Park offers tubing daily throughout the season and night skiing and tubing on Wednesday and Saturday.
After a hard days skiing, relax at the Japanese inspired Onsen Spa & Retreat, a massage and wellbeing centre in Dinner Plain.

Mount Hotham and Dinner Plain are home to a wide range of luxury accommodation options, more than 18 restaurants and all the services you would expect in a small regional town. To get around, you can jump aboard the free shuttle buses which service the village.
Getting to Mount Hotham by road is easiest, with one of Australia’s highest roads, the spectacular Great Alpine Road, running straight through the resort.
Mount Hotham also has its own airport, allowing you to charter a flight and fly directly from anywhere in Australia. Alternatively, Albury Airport, located 2.5 hours away offers regular scheduled domestic flights with local carriers.
