The United States is recognised as having some of the world’s largest snowfalls, with a handful of resorts recording 18 metres of snow annually. The USA ski season typically starts in November and runs through to April, with January and February boasting the best conditions.

You will find plenty of accommodation on offer, from luxurious five star resorts to rustic mountain lodges and chalets. Many of the ski towns are steeped in history and are home to world class dining, trendy après ski bars and designer shopping.
