Cardrona’s wide, open beginner trails, pristine groomers, fun freeride terrain and world class parks and pipes cater for all abilities. Whether you are a first time skier / snowboarder or looking to hone your skills, at Cardrona you will find an event, lesson or coach that is right for you.
This is a great family resort, with the safe and fun beginner area the perfect option to help you enjoy your first days on the slopes. Alternatively, you can enrol the little ones in the Cardrona Kids Club or one of the fully licensed Childcare Centres to give yourself your own time to explore the mountain.

Whether you are looking for a quick lunch or coffee break between runs or a relaxed afternoon in the sun enjoying some of the region’s best views of Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps, Cardona has you covered. On mountain five distinctly different cafes and restaurants offer everything from quick bites, full meals, bowls of noodles or delicious fresh juices and coffee.
Located in the Crown Range, between Queenstown and Wanaka, Cardrona has regular daily transport services to help you get to and from the resort with ease. Cardrona also has 15 self contained on-mountain apartments, located an easy one minute walk to the slopes. Alternatively, nearby Queenstown and Wanaka provide the perfect base from which to explore Cardrona and the surrounding region.
