If you want to improve your skills, Perisher’s Snowsports School offers lessons for first timers’ right through to experts. Thrill seekers can also test their skills at Australia’s only Superpipe in Perisher Valley.
There are plenty of additional activities to choose from including snow-shoeing, nordic and cross-country skiing, a snow-tubing park, groomer tours and scenic chairlift rides. Perisher also hosts regular events including fireworks shows, live music, ski competitions and more.
Throughout the 4 villages you will find plenty of cafes, bars, retail stores and fine dining options along with a vibrant nightlife. Located 5 hours from Sydney and only 2.5 hours from Canberra it is easy to get to Perisher. Once you arrive at Perisher the Skitube, Australia’s only alpine railway, is the most efficient and practical way to access the mountain, taking in some beautiful sights along the way.
